Why Everyone Should Have a Fanny Pack
A fanny pack is such a funny word isn’t it? It’s funny too, because this fannie pack can be worn in the front or the back wrapped cozy around your waist. I mean if you think about it, in the US, the word fanny refers to the buttocks or the area above it. But, in the UK the word represents the female reproductive organ. So, no matter which way you choose to wear it, it is correctly in it’s proper spot.
What I don’t understand is why so many people laugh at the term ’fanny pack’. Think about it, it is one of the most convenient little bags around. You can tuck away just about any small gadget you can think of without having to carry anything in your hands or pockets. Whether you are going hiking, camping or engaging in water sports, this little waterproof bag is great for carrying your wallet, keys, mobile phone, make up, ipod or anything else you want to carry.
The fanny pack comes in many different sizes, fabrics, colors and designs and can compliment any style. What is not to like about this little bag? Gotta travel? No need for a bulky carry on. Just grab your little bag, wrap it around your waist and you are good to go.
Go ahead and laugh all you want at the word, but I guarantee you once you get yourself one of these nifty little bags, you won’t be laughing anymore. In fact, you will wish you never laughed at the word at all.
