How Do We Cut And Stay Green?

How Do We Cut And Stay Green?

The word CUT used to only be spoken by directors or in hospitals. Now, as you can’t help but notice whenever you turn on the news / queue up / walk down the street, you hear it all the time and after a while it just gets depressing. Many people feel like they are already cutting back more than enough, and then they are told that they need to do even more! Fortunately I am not the only person who is fed up with this. There are alot of people on the internet who agree with me - go and do a search for them if you don’t believe me.

And it presents another question, too. If we are going to cut all the time then how will we develop a better financial eco-structure in our society? The problem is that recycling centres and many other places that benefit us in the long-term all cost money to build and put in to action. So if we start to cut too much to soon, then how will we make that happen? But then again, maybe we should calm down a minute. As the energy-conscientious switch to driving insight hybrids, and global warming and the environment in general gathers more momentum as a source of concern, surely we will have to find ways to improve on these things? If we don’t then we only have ourselves to blame, which is a shame. We’ve seen it coming for long enough, it would be tragic to have to tell our grandchildren that the reason our society is a mess is because we couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it.
