The word CUT used to only be spoken by directors or in hospitals. Now, as you can’t help but notice whenever you turn on the news / queue up / walk down the street, you hear it all the time and after a while it just gets depressing. Many people feel like they are already cutting back more than enough, and then they are told that they need to do even more! Fortunately I am not the only person who is fed up with this. There are alot of people on the internet who agree with me - go and do a search for them if you don’t believe me.

And it presents another question, too. If we are going to cut all the time then how will we develop a better financial eco-structure in our society? The problem is that recycling centres and many other places that benefit us in the long-term all cost money to build and put in to action. So if we start to cut too much to soon, then how will we make that happen? But then again, maybe we should calm down a minute. As the energy-conscientious switch to driving insight hybrids, and global warming and the environment in general gathers more momentum as a source of concern, surely we will have to find ways to improve on these things? If we don’t then we only have ourselves to blame, which is a shame. We’ve seen it coming for long enough, it would be tragic to have to tell our grandchildren that the reason our society is a mess is because we couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it.

When the rest of us here in the west are concerning ourselves on things like what to wear to work or where to find good cosmetic doctors, human rights activists and groups are protesting the execution by stoning of 12 women and 3 men in Iran, which includes a mother of two children. There has been a loud call for her release. Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtian, aged 43, was facing execution in Tabriz, in spite of going through an unfair and unjust trial. The Iranian Embassy in

Link: <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/08/iran-death-stoning-adultery"target="_blank">http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/08/iran-death-stoning-adultery

London gave a statement assuring her of clemency from execution by stoning but there have been several cases where a person who was supposed to be stoned was instead hanged.

It is not just this lady, there are 11 more who will have the same fate. Azar Bagheri, 19 was arrested at the age of 15 when her husband accused her of an affair with another man. Ashraff Kalhori, 40 was executed for having an affair with her husband’s murderer. The sad plight of all those being executed is that their families have completely disowned them, fearing the disrespect they will have to face in the society. Moreover, they do not want such issues to go public and requested the media to avoid publishing photos. A few of the prisoners are even afraid to return to their family, afraid that they will be killed by their family on return. The case of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtian is totally different. It was her sons who went around campaigning and shouting that their mother was innocent. The lady had actually been charged for an affair with 2 men. Her lawyer protested on the grounds that there was no solid proof for such allegations. She and her sons are happy to receive unparallel public support.

The Iranian government has banned this horrendous act, fearing the international attention and public protest but The Guardian Council remained mum on this issue. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights has requested the country to restrict this punishment to severe crimes alone. The United Nations too has taken similar action.

A fanny pack is such a funny word isn’t it? It’s funny too, because this fannie pack can be worn in the front or the back wrapped cozy around your waist. I mean if you think about it, in the US, the word fanny refers to the buttocks or the area above it. But, in the UK the word represents the female reproductive organ. So, no matter which way you choose to wear it, it is correctly in it’s proper spot.

What I don’t understand is why so many people laugh at the term ’fanny pack’. Think about it, it is one of the most convenient little bags around. You can tuck away just about any small gadget you can think of without having to carry anything in your hands or pockets. Whether you are going hiking, camping or engaging in water sports, this little waterproof bag is great for carrying your wallet, keys, mobile phone, make up, ipod or anything else you want to carry.

The fanny pack comes in many different sizes, fabrics, colors and designs and can compliment any style. What is not to like about this little bag? Gotta travel? No need for a bulky carry on. Just grab your little bag, wrap it around your waist and you are good to go.

Go ahead and laugh all you want at the word, but I guarantee you once you get yourself one of these nifty little bags, you won’t be laughing anymore. In fact, you will wish you never laughed at the word at all.

I just finished watching the movie Tarzan and it made me wonder how it would be to live in the rain forest. There would be many advantages and disadvantages to living there. It would be amazing to be able to live that close to those animals. If they were used to you and would not harm you it would be great. It would be wonderful to not have to pay bills, go to work, or worry about crime. It would be great to be able to swing from tree to tree on vines and fly through the air like a bird. You wouldn’t have to worry about getting that tummy tuck because there would be no one you would have to impress except for the animals.

I would love to ride on an elephants back in the wild or jump off of a cliff into an amazing pool of beautiful water. Being able to understand what the animals were saying and be able to talk back to them would be great. I can’t imagine what they would say or what questions to ask them but it would be amazing. There would be some disadvantages too though. We are so used to being able to use the bathroom whenever and where ever we want that now the idea of squatting in a bush and wiping with a leaf is kind of freaky.

If you were okay with the bathroom situation you would still have to worry about the dinner situation. Not the situation of you finding dinner, more the situation of you becoming dinner for one of the animals. With all the different animals in the jungle there would be at least one that would want to eat you. I don’t think I could protect myself from a lion or a cheetah. That would definitely discourage me from living in the jungle. If living in the jungle would be like it is on Tarzan I would go in a minute. It looks amazing.

Hello and welcome to my blog! I have recently overtaken this domain name for the express purpose of broadcasting my thoughts and feelings to the world. How exciting for the world…

A little bit about me, I currently live in the wonderful city of London and work in the city, but I would never describe myself as a ‘city worker’. I quite like spending my weekends in pubs with mates, watching films, playing a little footie. Just a good ‘ol English bloke really. No family, and (sadly) no girlfriend as of yet. But ladies I am looking to change that…Stay tuned for a single mans thoughts on the world!
